Last August 9, 2017, a monitoring team from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) conducted a monitoring and evaluation visit to determine the compliance of the College Department to the mandates of the Commission. The team is composed of Ms. Annaliza A. Gando, ES II; Ms. Cielo A. Barit, ES II; and Ms. Rowena Ann Malabanan, EPS II.


The evaluation focused on the Institutional Quality and Standards on Programs, Instruction, Research, and Extension; Basic Student Services per CMO 21 s. of 2006; Tuition Fee and Other School Fees; Student Financial Assistance Programs; and the Implementation of the NSTP Law.

After a short discussion with the Director for Academic Affairs and the College Dean, Dr. Rosanni del Mundo, the team made a thorough document analysis and interview with the office heads, namely Mr. Jose Pallarca of the Office of Student Affairs, Ms. Wednesdee-Perpetual Acasio of the Guidance and Counseling Office, Ms. Pearliza Domalaon of the Human Resource Department and Health Services, Ms. Genny Nazal of the Registrar’s Office, Mr. Edquel Reyes of the Library Department, Ms. Ma. Delia Alcantara of the Office of the Religious Affairs, and Ms. Novelita Cabotaje of the Accounting Office.

A dialogue with the Chairs on matters specific to the program offerings was also conducted. Present during this session were Mr. Raymund Baesa of the BSIT and CS Program, Dr. Maiden Grace Gan of the Business Program, and Mr. Glenn Irwin Reynon of the Communication Program. Afterwards, the team toured around the campus and to the newly constructed Blessed Jordan of Saxony Building to check the facilities.

Ms. Janice Julaton, staff of the Registrar’s Office and Ms. Hilda Mercader, secretary of the College Department, extended assistance during the visit.
