Bachelor in Secondary Education

            With the success of the Philosophy of Education that Angelicum has achieved led to the opening of the tertiary level following the same non-graded system of education.

            The commission on higher education granted Angelicum College the permit to offer the Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Biological Science and Mathematics beginning school year June 1995-1996.

            The move is made in line with the vision of the Dominican Province of the Philippines giving principal attention to the tertiary level in its educational apostolate.

BS Computer Science

            In response to the growing need for computer professional in business, academe, and educational institutions, Angelicum College developed a four-year degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

            The computer science course aims to prepare the students in developing advanced technology in the field of computer science. It provides the core knowledge of computing principles and applications in areas such as software engineering, networking and languages and systems.

            Students specializing in computer science are prepared to help bridge the different technologies through the integration of theory and applications for the development and implementation of effective solutions to practical problems.

BS Communication Arts

            This major provides students with the opportunity to study a broad range of communication fields. The program is rooted in the different areas seeking a career such as advertising, public relations, journalism, television, film radio, theater and other occupations in the field of communication. It aims to develop individuals to think critically, form right judgments and communicate thoughts and judgments from professionally competent who will contribute to nation building. 

BS Entrepreneurship

            The BSBA major in Entrepreneurship emphasizes the importance of an in-depth study of business theories and concepts, and of teaching students practical applications on accounting, management, marketing and human resource management. Students shall be trained to work with co-workers cooperatively and techniques on how to form alliances and team work to complete projects.

            Entrepreneurship is the practice of starting new organizations, new businesses that require attitudes and values as provided from the formal education and training. The classroom activities help build self-confidence and self-esteem by developing greater awareness.

            The professors are with business education background and are practitioners that aim to encourage, to analyze and search other/better alternatives in the process of accomplishing and examining case studies. The classroom activities shall help build self-confidence and self-esteem of students by developing greater awareness of their own expectations, attitudes and perceptions.

BS Human Resource Development Management (HRDM)

            This course aims to develop students in various operations in manufacturing, marketing and service sectors or in the different types of industries such as pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, food and beverage, banking and other small scale enterprises.

            The program aims to instill among students a socially responsible, humane and compassionate HR managerial philosophy and develop positive work habits and attitudes through the process of planning, and implementing rules and regulations of the company, team effectiveness, conflict mediation, problem-solving and environmentally responsible and respect for human rights
