Four student journalists from Angelicum School Iloilo proudly represented the institution at the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC), with two delegates from the Elementary Department and two from the High School Department.
Competing at the regional level requires skill, preparation, and courage. Although the delegates did not secure top placements, they delivered commendable performances that reflected their training, determination, and commitment to journalism.
With elementary learners Aethan Nacionales in Science-Technology writing, and Yrra Bagaforo in Photojournalism English and Highschool lerners Gabrielle Cabrejas in Photojournalism English, Ashira Benguan in Photojournalism Filipino.
Their participation alone marked a significant achievement, as they stood among the region’s most competitive young writers, photojournalosts and campus press. They may not have taken home the highest awards, but they carried with them invaluable experience and the honor of representing Angelicum.
In every competition, victory is not measured solely by trophies but by growth, resilience, and character — qualities these outstanding Angelicans embodied throughout the conference.
