FOCUSING on reducing inequalities, select Angelicans joined the World Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) competition, Sunday, Feb. 19, 2022.

Angelicum School Iloilo learners, namely: Alecxandria Dubouzet, Anne Josephine Españo, Kiera Garcia, Lyka Lamparero, and Denise Alexa Malones, discussed the causes of inequalities, and some national and local initiatives implemented to reduce it.

“The Angelicum School Student Council (ASSC) conducted an outreach program in Cari Mayor, Leganes, Iloilo last January 2023. It’s one of the many ways that can help reduce inequality. It was a great display of being one with the underprivileged, allowing them to feel the love and care that we can share,” said Españo.

They particularly emphasized that Angelicum School Iloilo, with charity as one of its core values, is actively participating in the effort to combat inequalities by conducting donation and outreach initiatives, among others.

Joining the participants from Angelicum School were their trainers, Academic Coordinator Jayson Abada and Angelicus Adviser Orlando Gamilla, Jr.

With participants the world over, the event was organized by With The World Inc., an organization that provides online international exchange programs. /END
