Angelicum School Iloilo served as the host venue for the AFS Philippine Visayas Midstay Orientation on February 4, 2026. The event welcomed foreign exchange students, AFS officials, and partner stakeholders to campus, where they were formally received by school faculty, participating students, and a cultural presentation by the Artistika Dance Club.
In her keynote address, National Director Hannah Salugsugan, who assumed leadership in September 2025, extended appreciation to the faculty and Angelicum School Parent-Teacher Association (ASPTA) representatives for their hospitality. She emphasized AFS’s foundational principle stating: “AFS a relationship driven organization.”
The orientation provided exchange students with structured opportunities to reflect on their halfway-point experiences, discuss challenges, and refine expectations for their remaining time in the program. Through guided activities and group discussions, participants engaged in meaningful dialogue about cultural adaptation and personal growth.
This event underscored Angelicum School Iloilo’s commitment to facilitating global education initiatives and AFS’s dedication to creating impactful international exchange opportunities.
