What better way to hone smart minds than to create a Smart environment?
Angelicum School of Iloilo is set to renovate its classrooms and transform them into Smart classrooms, where learners can experience and use technology as they discover their true potential.
This initiative is in preparation for face-to-face learning.
Smart classrooms are facilities that are enhanced by technology and create opportunities for teaching and learning through integrated learning technology. This includes computers and specialized software, among others.
Angelicum is looking to equip its Smart classrooms with multimedia and internet connectivity. The classrooms will also be fully air-conditioned.
Rev. Fr. John Stephen Besa, OP, Angelicum’s school principal, said that the University of Santo Tomas (UST) is helping the school in its physical development. “UST Manila designed the classrooms of Angelicum,” he said. The Facilities Management Office of UST, with its engineers and architects, is spearheading the overall renovations of Angelicum.
Fr. Besa added that Angelicum is aggressively improving its facilities to bring the school to the next level.
